Lyrics of the day

Celebrity Sightings in Sundance, Utah are nothing new. But on June 25th when MaryKate Olsen was spotted riding in a white shuttle van from nearby Orem to the picturesque mountain town, she wasn't en route to a filmn festival. Instead the teen actress. wearing an orange cowboy hat was in the middle of another day at Cirque Lodge, an up to $30,000 per month private facility where as Us reported exclusively she is being reated for anorexia by a team of counselors, a psychology and a nutritionist."Treatment is continuing", an Olsen insider tells US just two weeks into MK's stay. In that brief period, even more help has arrived. About a week after MK checked in, her twin sister, Ashley, visited Utah for a few days. "It went great," Dave Olsen their father, a former mortgage banker who divorced the twins'mother Jarnette,in 1996, tells US exclusively of the tearful reunion. "They're very close, the two of them. They embraced.... Obviously MK was very happy, and so was Ashley." Indeed as the blonde half of the 18 year old duo said recently, "I'm here for [Mary-Kate] whenever she needs me and you know, thats how it works." It sounds simple but it has been a struggle even to get to this point. According to Dave Olsen, MK has been suffering from an eating disorded for two years. In fact, the decision to send her to Cirque Lodge-which mainly treats serious substance abusers(one former patitent is The Simple Life 2's Nicole Ritchie)-came after several attempts to control his daughter's eating disorder on an outpatient basis.According to one source, In Feburary professional conselors were hired to sit with the five-food-one star and monitor her eating habits says the source, "They would talk to her and be there for her and make sure she swallowed her food" Like many people who battle anorexia, Mary-Kate's struggles often coincided with stressful periods in her life-like talking her SAT's. "There were better and worse times," says an insider. But despite reports that the Olsen family urgently staged an intervention, insiders tell US that the decision to head to Utah was reached calmly and mutually. "Her family was certainly involved, but this was something that MK knew she needed to do", says the source. "She was not dragged to the facility." And it's not as if she has been sent away to prison. Though the treatment program is intense, the environment at the ultra-private Cirque Lodge is actually somewhat spa-like. "It looks like a big fancy home," says a local source. In addition to counselling and therapy, a normal day can include meditation, movies-even pedicures. Mary-Kate has been free to call her boyfriend, Boston University student, David Katzenberg, 21 whom she hasn't seen since the week of June 7th when she graduated from highschool."The rehab is not a lockdown," says a Katzenberg pal. "She can make phone calls to her family, and David is part of her family now." Still he's no substitute for Ashley. Says a source close to the sisters. "They are everything to each other-twins, business partners and best friends. They are always in each other's corners." With MK ensconced in therapy for possibly another two weeks, Ashley rearranged her schedule in order to lend support whenever(and wherever)possible. Although she recently managed to fit in a short visit to New York City, where both are still expected to attend New York University this fall, Ashley canceled what would have been a solo trip to Australia and New Zealand to promote New York Minutes. "She really didn;t want to disappoint fans," says a source close to the star, who will be doing press from Los Angeles. Still, adds the source, "The primary concern is for Mary-Kate to get well."
